Acting lessons tailored towards Directors and Writers.

This weekend course is designed to demystify an actor’s process in order to improve directing and writing skills. You will learn how collaboration with actors can be used to bolster and broaden the creative process, as well as how to get the best out of your performers in auditions and on-set.

Course Highlights

The two day event will be led by award winning London performance ensemble N2P, whose work was recently commissioned by Battersea Arts Centre and supported by Arts Council England. 

  • The sessions will be delivered as a mock devising/rehearsal process
  • The first session will teach you how to engage with an actor’s process
  • The second session will teach you how to use improv and character exploration as devising tools
  • N2P’s Artistic Directors Harriet Taylor and Scott Howland met while studying an MA in Text and Performance at RADA, they have since gone on to write, produce, direct and perform in four original plays and work regularly at the London Film School to develop scripts with MA Screenwriting students
