Summer Camp

Calling all future filmmakers!

Do you have a passion for making films? Do you enjoy being behind the camera? Central Film School has partnered with FindEducation to host a two-week residential filmmaking summer camp focused on all things film!

Programme Overview

Open to young creatives between 13 to 17 years old, our camp offers two weeks of non-stop filmmaking, making friends from around the world, and having the summer of a lifetime! Classes are delivered by Central Film School filmmaking and screenwriting tutors in the following key areas:

Selection Criteria

This course would be suitable for students studying a Level 3 course such as a diploma, A Levels, IB or their final years of secondary education.

You must complete an application alongside either a 250 word statement or a link to a short, up to 5 minutes, video answering the following questions; 

  1. Why you would like to study the course?
  2. What do you hope to get out of the course?
  3. Who inspires you in the filmmaking industry and why? 

Funded/Partially funded places are available for students who apply based on the following criteria;

  • Applicants living in a Polar 4 Quintile 1 & 2 postcodes, check your postcode here
  • Applicants in Year 12, or equivalent (college), at the point of application. 
  • Applicants who have been in the care of a Local Authority since the age of 16
  • Applicants who receive free school meals. 
  • Applicants who are Black, Asian or Minority Ethnic
