Focused on Filmmaking
Summer Programme

This short course will serve as a perfect starting point for the creation of Visual Portfolios, supporting those who wish to study filmmaking or screenwriting at Film School.

Through practical experimentation, you will be given the chance to experience Central Film School in a fun and creative environment.

This course will now be hosted online to align with the current government guidelines. 

Classes will be held online on weekday evenings from 5.30pm – 8:00pm

AGE: Year 11- Year 13

LEVEL: Applicants must hold, or be working towards, a Level 3 qualification

CLASS SIZE: 8-16 

START DATE: 29th June

COURSE DATES & TIMES:
 June: 29th and 30th, 5.30pm- 8pm
July: 1st, 7th, 8th, 14th, 5.30pm – 8pm

COURSE DURATION:
 6 evening classes

I’ve learned a lot, mainly about all the different roles on the film set and what they all involve and how even if you think that your role is quite small, is actually very important. I think the teachers are all really helpful and I really enjoyed it. My favourite part is operating the camera.
