Whether you are an international or Home student, London is a fantastic place to see and experience all things food, culture and creativity.
Here are some recommendations of things to do in London which are near our campus.
Food and drink
Clapham, lying within the London Borough of Lambeth, is an affluent residential suburb and is home to some of the area’s most popular pubs and restaurants. Its High Street offers modern Asian and European dining, food stalls, gourmet and pizza spots. There are also plenty of options for vegan, vegetarians or halal diets across the area or the entire city.
You can also find a mix of cocktail-bars, wood-panelled pubs or nightclubs where you can have fun and bond with your new friends.
Cultural Life
London is one of the most culturally vibrant cities in the world. Home to world-famous theatres, galleries, festivals, museums, shopping centres and parks which allow you to immerse yourself in the culture. Another staple of London culture is the many different markets located around the city, with famous markets such as Camden Market, Borough Market and Market Hall on Oxford Street to name but a few.
Shopping
When it comes to shopping, there is no better place than London, known for its high street or designer stores. You’ll find all kinds of treasures when you explore:
- Battersea Power Station (NEW)

And many others!
Film Festivals and Cinema
When it comes to film in London, you’re simply spoiled for choice, with a staggering amount of cinemas to pick from such as The Ritzy, Clapham Picture-house and The Electric Cinema to name a few , as well as local film festivals held all year round.
