We are proud to announce that the Graduation ceremony for the class of 2024 will take place on Tuesday 3rd December 2024. The ceremony will be held at BFI Southbank from 12pm - 5pm. Below is everything you need to know about your graduation ceremony
Your ceremony and reception will be held in BFI Southbank, Belvedere Road, South Bank, London, SE1 8XT
On the day, you need to arrive at 12pm, which is one hour before your ceremony begins to allow time for registration, photography and gown collection.

Graduates are welcome to wear gowns for the ceremony at a cost of £46 (BA) and £52 (MA). Gowns should be ordered from Ede & Ravenscroft and, once ordered, will be available for collection from the ceremony venue.

The deadline for ordering gowns is Tuesday 12th November 2024. Please note there will be no spare gowns to hire on the day.
Additional guest tickets for the Class of 2024 Graduation Ceremony can be purchased at a cost of £15 per person.
Please note that there is a max of two additional guest tickets per person. Any additional tickets purchased after this will not be valid.
The deadline for purchasing guest tickets is Wednesday, October 16th 2024.
You may bring your own camera or video camera to the ceremony, but please be considerate of those sitting around you if photographing or filming during the event.
Professional photography will be done at the graduation if you’d like to have photos taken of yourself, family and friends (photo sessions cannot be booked in advance).
Wherever possible we would encourage you to have your photographs taken prior to your ceremony.
Graduation ceremonies are formal occasions and therefore smart dress is appropriate. Remember your clothes can be seen under your gowns. Students are welcome to wear traditional or national dress.
Please note that shorts, denim and trainers are not appropriate attire for a graduation ceremony.
In memory of Carlie Tufnell, a former student of Central Film School, the charitable trust set up in his name has created a developmental fund for new graduates of CFS to support bringing their short-film projects to fruition.
The awarded amount, of up to £10,000, will be allocated through the submission of written bids followed by a presentation, with a shortlist of applicants pitching to a panel made up of CFS staff and trustees of the Carlie Tufnell Charitable Trust.
All graduates attending the ceremony should be aware of the following:
When you complete your booking you will be given the opportunity to inform us if you do not wish for your name to be included.
We understand that your ceremony is a family celebration and children are welcome to attend. However, the ceremony is a formal occasion and therefore may not be appropriate for young children.
If you do wish to bring children, you will need to purchase a guest ticket for children over two years and they will need to be seated with a guest, we are unable to seat children with graduates. Please note that there are no concessions. Childcare facilities are not available at the venue.
