What is Clearing?

Clearing is an opportunity for students who have not secured a place in a university or college to find alternative courses or institutions that still have vacancies. It can be used by students who did not receive offers from their chosen universities or who did not meet the required grades for their conditional offers. It can also be useful for those who have changed their mind about their course or institution, or for those who have decided to apply to university after the initial application deadline has passed.
